General Search

The AA Travel Guides website search has been developed to make finding accommodation even easier. The search function is able to handle simple searches such as 'Pretoria Hotels' or 'Guest Houses Johannesburg' and is also able to provide search results to complex searches such as 'Guest houses in Hermanus with whale watching' or 'Hotels in Pretoria with swimming pool'.

Complex searches make use of special keywords. Use the special keyword 'in' to indicate a location. eg. 'Hotels in Pretoria'. Use the special keyword 'with' to indicate activities, facilities and services. eg. 'Hotels with tennis court'

Location Search

Select the 'Location' checkbox to find a specific province, town or suburb using the location search. The search will return a list of places to stay in the location found. eg. 'Middleburg, Mpumalanga' or 'Camps Bay'

Establishment Search

Select the 'establishment' checkbox and quickly find a specific establishment by entering the establishment name or part of an establishment name in the search box.
