Here you will wake to the sound of silence rising from 8 hectares of rose laden rambling gardens with rolling lawns along a kilometer of the banks of the Piesang River, a bird watchers paradise.
The Crescent Country Hotel has 39 spacious and beautifully appointed en suite rooms complete with a private safe, DSTV, tea and coffee making facilities, fans and heaters. All rooms lead on to a private terrace and into the gardens. Our hotel is wheelchair friendly and we have two rooms specifically laid out as self-help rooms for paraplegics. A daily laundry service is available to all guests.
A full country breakfast is served every morning. Lunches are available from our a la carte menu and can be enjoyed by the pool or on our patio overlooking the gardens and magnificent mountain views. By evening our gourmet chefs will satisfy the most discerning of guests with International, South African and Cape specialties. All of which are complemented by a selection of South Africa’s finest wines from our large cellar. Pre dinner drinks can be enjoyed beside the pool as the sun sets around you or inside at our exclusive bar and lounge.
The Crescent Country Hotel is located close to town and only 1 km from Plett’s famous beaches, this means there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied, swimming, fishing and canoeing, tennis and cycling are all on-site and within close proximity. Gary Player’s Plettenberg Bay Country Club is just across the road, Goose Valley is 5km away and Pezula, Simola and Knysna golf courses are all within 30km.

The Crescent Country Hotel is an idyllic wedding venue, centrally located offering stunning views of our gardens and the majestic mountain which are serenely beautiful for your wedding. Nestled in the lovely Piesang Valley, this is an ideal location for your most memorable day. Our Pavilion has also been used in good weather for the wedding service.
The Crescent Country Hotel also offers state of the art conferencing facilities in four venues from 12 delegates in the striking wood paneled Rose Room to cinema style seating for 100.
