Located in the heart of the Garden Route and superbly positioned on the rocks below Mossel Bay’s famous St Blaize Lighthouse, The Point Hotel offers 52 sea-facing, en suite rooms each with a private balcony which guarantees stunning sea views over the Indian Ocean.
The Lighthouse Restaurant serves sumptuous breakfasts and offers a diverse a la carte menu which specializes in Mossel Bay’s famous seafood. As the African sun falls below the horizon enjoy a cocktail on our terrace.
Our Conference facilities and equipment cater for up to 80 delegates and this facility with its spectacular views over the Indian Ocean is also an ideal venue for intimate weddings and private dinners. The Business Centre accommodates 10 people around a boardroom table and offers computer, printing and internet facilities.
A huge tidal pool in front of the hotel offers safe bathing, whilst surfers can enjoy one of the best surfing venues on the coast line including internationally renowned Inner and Outer Pool. The St Blaize Hiking trail starts above the hotel and leads along a contour path for 15kms to Dana Bay.
The Point area boasts with seven diverse restaurants – all with spectacular sea views of the Indian Ocean - and is a great place for families to stroll around and enjoy the summer sunshine and fresh ocean breeze.

Child Policy: (7 Family Rooms)
Children under the age of two years stays free
Children under the age of 12 years accompanied by parents will pay R 350.00 which includes breakfast & accommodated in the same room.
Children under the age of 18 years accompanied by parents will pay R 400.00 which includes breakfast & accommodated in the same room.

3rd & 4th Person Policy: (Inter-leading Rooms)
A 3rd person and 4th person above the age of 18 years sharing will each pay the amount of R540.00

Breakfast Policy:
A full English breakfast and / or Continental is R135.00 per person
Children over the age of 12 years pay full price for breakfast.
Children under the age of 12 years and not younger than 2 years pay half price.
Children under the age of 2 years do not pay.
