Highly Recommended Self-Catering Cottages/Chalets
La Galinière Farm provides high quality self-catering accommodation in three recently refurnished and comfortable cottages situated on a secluded boutique vineyard just 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Franschhoek.
Shiraz Cottage comprises a bedroom (king or twin beds), shower room, well-equipped kitchen and small hallway.
Cabernet Cottage comprises a bedroom (double bed), bathroom (shower over bath), well-equipped kitchen, and good-size living room with sofa, sofa bed, dining table (4 chairs).
Merlot Cottage comprises two bedrooms (king or twin beds), bathroom (shower over bath), well-equipped kitchen, and good-size living room with two sofas, dining table (4 chairs).
Each cottage has fan heaters, cooling fans, TV with DSTV, fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee/milk/sugar provided.
We are child-friendly and can provide cots, high chairs and car seats as well as outdoor toys. We also have an outdoor swimming pool that guests are welcome to use. Secure off-street parking is available.
Every booking receives a complimentary bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon wine made from grapes harvested on the vineyard.
Child Policy
Children are always welcome at La Galiniere Guest Cottages.
Children aged 0-5 are free of charge.
Children aged 6-12 are half the adult charge.
Cancellation Policy
50% deposit required to secure booking. Deposit will be reimbursed (less any administration, credit card or bank charges) up to seven days prior to anticipated arrival.

La Galiniere Guest Cottages are located on the main R45 road. If approaching from Paarl or Stellenbosch, the farm is on the right hand side of the road after passing Grande Provence Estate, Franschhoek Country House and Allora Italian Restaurant. The entrance is almost opposite Petite Provence Estate and is partly concealed by a tall hedgerow/trees.
