Blueberry Hill Estate is a boutique wine farm, 2km from the village, enjoying both mountain and valley views.

Olive and Lavender cottages are luxuriously decorated, with exquisite attention to detail. Both cottages have three bedrooms, two double rooms with queen size beds, and a third bedroom with a single bed. The master bedroom benefits from walk through cupboard leading to the secluded ensuite bathroom.
The open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen enable guests to prepare meals without being out of the conversation. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric stove and microwave in which you can create your own mouthwatering masterpieces. If you enjoy playing cards, two decks are provided for guests, and there is ample space to play using the coffee table in the lounge area, the dining room table, or the additional table provided.

You could choose to sit on the comfortable upholstered sofa and chairs, with decorative scatter cushions making it even cosier, while marveling at the magnificent view through the large lounge windows which frame the view across the valley to the imposing Franschhoek Mountains. Table lamps are provided to soften the lightening for a romantic evening in. After dark draw the curtains, watch TV or chat with your loved one, family or friends. A basket of wood is provided for guests to build a lovely log fire in the large fireplace. Simply enjoy the fire as it glows and crackles, adding to the ambiance or on chillier evenings provide additional warmth. What could be better than enjoying some of Franschhoek’s world class wines next to a roaring fire. Wall mounted heaters are also installed in the cottages for added warmth in the winter months.

Both cottages have their own patios from which to enjoy the views, watch the sun rise and set or enjoy the summer sunshine. Weber braai's (barbeques) are available for our guests use … let us know whether you would like to have your barbeque on your patio or next to the pool and we will set it up for you. We have a fabulous local butcher, with a wonderful range of fresh meat, poultry and the best boerewors (sausage) for your braai.

In summer take a refreshing dip in our rimflow pool, and enjoy a new perspective on the valley. If you are very brave or you bring a wet suit you could enjoy it when the temperatures cool too.

The most common comment we receive from our guests is “we wish we were here for longer .. 2/3 days is just not enough ...” Blueberry Hill truly is a piece of heaven, right here on earth; take time away from your hectic life and come relax, enjoy the peace and tranquility and recharge your batteries!
