Proclaimed in 1991, this park is a contractual national park. Diesel and leaded fuel, limited cool drinks available at Sendelingsdrift. It is essential to carry sufficient fresh water with you. As most internal roads are tracks or deep-sanded river beds, 4x4 vehicles or vehicles with high clearances are recommended. It is suggested that you travel in a convoy of 2 to 3 vehicles.
