Set in the tranquil farmlands of Balfour, Mpumalanga, just an hour's drive from Johannesburg, lies the magnificently restored Welgelegen Manor designed by South Africa's iconic architect, Sir Herbert Baker in 1912. This is the ideal getaway for a country-house weekend, a small conference, or an intimate garden wedding.

A sense of peace and tranquility greets you on arrival, echoing through the reception rooms with original fireplaces for cold winter nights, and spacious, luxury guest suites where every comfort is catered for.
