Baluleni Safari Lodge, the best in self-catering accommodation, is set in Big 5 country along the shores of the Olifants River in the private section of the Kruger National Park.
The Lodge consist of the RIVER COTTAGE and the FAMILY COTTAGE.
The RIVER COTTAGE provides luxury furnished self-catering accommodation with river view, 5 double bedrooms of which 2 bedrooms each have a double bed and single bed each, 2 full bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen (with eye-level oven, electricity/gas stove, microwave, 3 fridges/freezers, and dishwasher), lounge, dining room, balcony, wooden deck with swimming pool and grill area.
It is personally and tastefully decorated and has a homely yet elegant feel to it. Oil paintings of the bushveld, painted by Elke, grace the walls.
We provide all linen and towels and it is serviced daily.
Laundry service is available.
We accept bookings from 2 to 12 people and it is available exclusively to you.
The FAMILY COTTAGE provides self-catering accommodation with river view, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen (gas stove/oven, microwave, 2 fridge/freezers), open-plan with lounge and bar area, verandah, thatched lapa, grill area and pool and is tastefully furnished.
We accept bookings from 2 to 8 people and it is available exclusively to you.
We provide all linen and towels and it is serviced daily.
Laundry service is available.
Together groups of up to 20 people can be accommodated.All bedrooms do have mosquito windows.
The river is visible, whether you are sitting in the lounge, dining room, balcony, or on the veranda, and animal sightings are a daily occurence. Vervet monkeys, hippo, bushbuck, warthog, porcupine, elephant, giraffe, waterbuck, etc. have been seen at the river front and around the lodge.
Kindly note you are in the wild and animals are not caged in or in camps; therefore animals are not available on request: It is a matter of being at the right place at the right time.
The lodge is owner-managed and is the ideal place to relax and unwind in total privacy. Kindly note the closest restaurant facilities are one hour’s drive away, but guests are welcome to order meals prior their arrivals from Elke, who is a Cordon-Bleu Chef. We also offer Dinner, Bed and Breakfast on request.

Bush walks can be arranged with a qualified ranger.
Evert is available as your guide and driver for guided tours to the public section of the Kruger National Park or surrounding areas.
No private game drives are allowed.
Light lunches and lunch boxes are available on request.

Child Policy
Children are charged as adults. All children 24/7 under parental supervision (there are no fences around the lodge).

Cancellation Policy
Deposits, cancellation and child policies
A deposit of 50 % is required to secure your booking, the balance to be paid seven days prior to arrival. Please note that the establishment does not accept credit cards. If a booking is cancelled less than seven days before the proposed date of stay the amount paid will be forfeited. Cancellations more than seven days in advance will receive 50 % of deposit back. Management reserves the right to change prices listed. Pets are not allowed and children should always be under parental supervision since this is big 5 country and there are no fences.
