Chartwell Guest House is situated at 88 Chartwell Drive, Umhlanga Rocks, the coastal playground of Umhlanga, Durban. Chartwell Guest House has an unusual history. It was previously an art gallery and home to local artist and Trustee of an International Art Foundation Mr H. Boshoff. Although it is now completely renovated, Chartwell Guest House still bears testiment to its unique past. The swimming pool was hand mosaiced by internationally acclaimed artist Jane Du Rand. It is truly a work of art as is the exquisite black, white and mirror mosaiced bathroom in the Honeymoon Suite. Whether you come to Umhlanga for business or pleasure you will find Chartwell Guest House has it all – luxurious accommodation, spectacular sea views, excellent security and warm and generous hospitality.
