Sylvan Grove is a 4 Star and AA Superior Guest House situated in a quiet residential area of Umhlanga Rocks, with a tropical garden, inviting swimming pool and prolific bird life facing the Indian Ocean. Our twin rooms have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, hospitality tray, hairdryers, mini bar, safes, telephones, wireless internet & satellite TV. The swimming beaches with lifeguards on duty, Gateway Shopping and Entertainment Centre and an extensive choice of restaurants are within a few kilometers.
For the sports enthusiasts there are numerous facilities nearby, golf, tennis, bowls, gym, nature walks, and micro light flying.Dolphin and Whale watching, and scuba diving launch from our local beach. We are a 15 minute drive from the Durban CBD, International Conference Centre, uShaka Marine World, Sibaya and Suncoast Casino’s. Umhlanga and La Lucia Ridge Business Parks are close by. Children 4+ are welcome. Sight seeing tours and airport and local transfers by arrangement.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy:-
In the event of notification of cancellation, the following cancellation fee shall apply on the full booking:
More than 30 days prior to arrival : 5% cancellation fee
More than 7 days prior to arrival : 50% cancellation fee
Less than 7 days prior to arrival : 100% cancellation fee
Should you wish to cancel days, shorten your booking or take days in-between out of the booked days, full accommodation rate will be charged.
Our check in time is between 2pm and 8pm and you are requested to check out by 10am. If an earlier or later arrival or check out is required please call and arrange this with us well in advance or a fee of R250 will be charged.

From Kind Shaka international Airport take the N2 south towards Durban
Take exit 182 and left onto the M41. Take 2nd off ramp, turn left into Umhlanga Rocks Drive across roundabout into Herrwood Drive. Third turning to your right is Campbell Drive and first left into Sylvan Grove.
