In Umdloti, activities include wind-surfing, paddle ski fishing, rock fishing, tidal pool, rock pools, sandcastle building with the kids and on a windy day fly a kite, play Ten-Pin Bowling at Gateway with the children, those without the children, treat yourselves to a moonlight Spa treatment for two at Sibaya, just 10 min from the front door!
Umdloti is a great Surfing spot (hire a board at the Kite sports shop) and offers Spear, Rock and Canoe Fishing.

Kite-Surfing / Kite-boarding, why not book a lesson with Sin or Bruce who are well reputed and offer good service at the Kite Sports School in Umdloti Beach. All equipment is supplied for your lesson with the School, safe for youngsters (min 12 years old) and adults alike. Two way radios are used to bring you the highest level of teaching. Beginner lessons on the safe, flat-water of Umdloti / La Mercy Lagoon.

Our seaside chalet and studio units offer you a restful, private, refreshing escape, the rhythmic sounds of the sea are very soothing in our peaceful cul-de-sac. So much to do and see or just totally relax in the water, or on the beach with a good book, or in the privacy of your own patio/braai, after sight-seeing. A full moon reflecting on the water is quite beautiful in the still of the night. Partial sea views as seen in our photos in all units. Protected from the onshore winds. David's Cottage is a two bedroom family beach cottage with small garden, lock-up garage, kitchen etc. Leila's Level is an open plan, comfortable, compact, studio, unit for two and has it's own large braai / patio and the The Guest Suite; king-size or twin bed,please request your preference, has microwave, a bar fridge, toaster and kettle facility. Patio and braai facility for each unit each has their own. Spoil yourself with a Thai Massage and Beauty Treatments, a 2 minute walk from our cottage.

Reservations confirmed with 50% deposit.
Check-out time: Not later than 10am.
Check in time: 2.00pm - 6.30pm unless by arrangement.

CANCELLATION RULES: General rule prior to arrival is:

No show and same day cancellation : Forfeit full amount.
Less than 7 days, forfeit the full deposit.
From 7 to 14 days, forfeit 75% of deposit
From 14 to 21 days, forfeit 50% of deposit
From 21 to 28 days, forfeit 25 % of deposit.
Minimum admin fee - 10%
