Charles and Sharon Lourens have over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Their homestay B&B offers guests the professionalism of an upmarket B&B with the personal comfort and ambiance of your home. Set in the quiet, leafy suburb of Durban North, you will leave their home thoroughly satisfied with the level of comfort and service you experience. Large grounds, swimming pool, deck, modern kitchen and well appointed bedrooms (all en suite) all go towards a most enjoyable stay. Guests have the use of the facilities of the house as each room is an integral part of it. Interior doors lead to the dining room and TV lounge, whilst exterior doors give each guest the freedom of coming and going as they wish. Each day a full English breakfast is served and the large parking area and access controlled gates offers secure parking.

We are close to all major sporting stadia (5 minutes), P&P Hypermarket is 4minutes away by car, the major Durban beaches 8 to 10 minutes and the Gateway shopping complex of Umhlanga 8 -10 minutes. Airport pick up and shuttle services can be arranged as well as Game drives and viewing at the game parks in KwaZulu-Natal.

Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required to secure accommodation.
For cancellations 60-90 days 90% is returned
For cancellations 30-60 days 50% is returned
For cancellations within 30 days we regret but there will be no refund on the deposit

Directions from Durban Airport – King Shaka International, La Mersey
1. Follow the signs marked Umhlanga Rocks
2. After Umhlanga keep on the M13 to Durban (Leo Boyd Highway)
3. Take the Swapo Ave (Broadway)/Durban North off ramp
4. Travel past the Engen Service Station and Crusaders Sports Ground – Swapo Ave
5. Travel up Swapo Ave (Broadway) past the Methodist Church on your right.
6. Turn left into Chelsea Drive – last road before the traffic lights at the top of Swapo Ave
7. Twentysevenchelsea is in the dip just past the school – on your right.
Directions from Johannesburg/Pietermaritzburg
1. Follow the N3 directly into Durban
2. Soon you’ll be on Old Fort Rd heading towards the beaches
3. At the Durban Exhibition Centre (on your right) and Sahara Kingsmead Cricket Stadium (directly in front on your left) turn left into NMR Ave.
4. Continue past the Soccer, Rugby, Athletic and Swimming stadia and over the Umgeni River bridge
5. The road now becomes Northway – follow it over a second bridge and past the next set of traffic lights
6. Turn right into Cavendish Rd – second road to the right after the traffic lights
7. You will then reach Chelsea Drive – turn right, twentysevenchelsea is in the dip just past the school.
