The Quiet Hamlet of St. Lucia Village is situated on the Elephant Coast, 220km from Durban. Here it is possible to access a variety of outdoor activities within a small area. However returning from a busy day, our BnB is ideal for you. Hornbill House offers comfortable rooms, all en suite and even a family room. Breakfast can either be continental or full English, there is a swimming pool, safe parking, laundry service and a reception service.

A variety of tours are available that depart from Hornbill House. For those that wish to explore the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park on their own, snorkel gear, boogey boards and grass mats are available to patrons on request.

The Elephant Coast a truly unique destination that stretches from south of Lake St. Lucia all the way to the Mozambique Border. It is a place of wonder. To the west is the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Park and in the north west the Ubombo Mountains. The whole eastern boundary is the warm, tropical Indian Ocean. A truly remarkable destination with embedded Zulu Culture and traditions. St. Lucia Village characterises the south of this Park

This remarkable safari destination is a mixture of land, aquatic and marine environments. Lake St. Lucia and Hluhluwe/Umfolozi have been under formal conservation since 1895, and in December 1999 the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park was proclaimed South Africa's first World Heritage Site by UNESCO protocol. Recently the name was changed to the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. St. Lucia Village is conveniently situated to explore all these unique attractions of our first World Heritage Site. To the north there is Kosi Bay with 800 year old fish traps, Ghost Mountain, Border Cave, centrally situated is Sodwana Bay a premier SCUBA destination and St. Lucia Village with a plethora of activities.So for many of our visitors that arrived for a day, they stayed longer and returned sooner.

0 - 2 years: 80% discount on the adult rate applicable to that period.
2 - 12 years: 50% discount on the adult rate applicable to that period.

Please note that a cancellation fee will be levied if the required amount is not paid, credit card details not sent or the reservation not cancelled by the pre-mentioned date.
From 21 to 28 days guest forfeit 25% of the full amount required for your stay = deposit.
From 14 to 21 days forfeit is 50%.
From 7 to 14 days forfeit is 75% of deposit.
Less than 7 days forfeit full deposit.
