A pet friendly establishment. Do you feel the need for a romantic getaway in the country? Within an hour's drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, nestled in the hills of the Magaliesberg, on a private bushveld farm with wonderful views, is Stone Hill. Perched high above the distant village of Magaliesburg, we offer 7 top-class, fully-equipped secluded and luxurious self-catering timber cottages accommodating from 2 to 8 guests. All have open- plan lounges with log fireplaces, fully-fitted kitchens, bedrooms and full bathrooms. Each is individually fenced for pets and has a large verandah and braai area. All the cottages are stand alone and private. We are family and pet friendly and each unit has selected DSTV channels. The small splash pool is within easy reach of each cottage and the view down the valley is breathtaking. We are an entirely pet friendly venue, so dogs are allowed to bring their owners! Each cottage and its garden is entirely encompassed by a fence for your pet's peace of mind. The farm supports indigenous small game and bird life and we have introduced a 5km walking trail for dogs and owners and there are 7 concrete benches along the way for the weary to sit and catch their breath! This mountain bushveld farm offers privacy, peace and seclusion and it is where your internal clock instinctively slows to the rhythm of the bush. The welcome is warm and the attention is personalised so come and braai under the stars and hear the call of the jackal.
