“Comfortable, natural and spacious” When hosting a conference at The Syrene Hotel you are provided with the latest, high tech state-of-the-art equipment, including a projector and screen, amplifier complimentary Internet access and wireless, blackout curtains ensuring total privacy. The conference room seats up to 20 delegates boardroom style around our executive modular boardroom table. We can host up to 50 delegates cinema style. If you have any special requests we will endeavour to meet your needs.
The Elm Tree Restaurant:
“A personal experience" Gourmet snacks and lunch are catered from the restaurant, adjacent to the Conferencing Room. Contact our events co-ordinator who will gladly assist you with organising your function in one of our unique venues. Whether it be conferencing, a media launch, board meetings, private dining, cocktail / canapé events or even a *small wedding. (*Terms and Conditions apply), we cater for your requests. Our resident chef and owner, Paul Anthony Finney, will delight you with his simple and elegant dishes. The restaurant seats 30 guests inside and 20 outside. We are open to the public, Tuesday to Saturday for breakfast and lunch. We cater for dinner functions and small weddings.
The Cellar – Our own winery “1st in JHB
The Cellar is a proper working wine cellar, (which we’re led to believe is the only one of its kind in Gauteng), which is run and managed by two wine makers, Sara Webster and Glen James. In the periods between wine making, all the equipment is smartly packed away leaving behind a beautiful room flanked by wine barrels aging in the barrel cellar and in a niche on the opposite side of the room, the bottle aging cellar. The cellar room provides comfortable tables and chairs, projector and screen, amplifier and all the other necessary equipment including Wi-fi to ensure a successful meeting or presentation. Measuring 60 square meters of refined luxury, the Presidential Suite is equipped with all the amenities a 5-star establishment should offer. Your hosts, Daniella and Paul Finney along with our friendly staff are at your service to oblige and assist you with any special request or personal preference that you may have during your stay at the hotel

Our 8 fully equipped luxury suites offer the luxury and comfort of home with a 5-star attitude and service, designed with sophisticated, luxurious elegance and a great deal of thought and attention to the aesthetic beauty.
