Hoopoe Haven is a small and peaceful country guest house, situated in beautiful Chartwell, but it is just a few km away from the hustle and bustle of Fourways, MonteCasino, Dainfern golf course, 3 shopping malls, Lanseria airport, the lion park and 'live' theatre at Broadacres Barnyard theatre and Pieter Toerien's Montecasino theatre, just to name a few highlights.

Hoopoe Haven is positioned on 2 acres of landscaped gardens in the countryside with nearby Horse trails and a beautiful view of the Magaliesburg Mountains. It is a place to relax and unwind in the peace and quiet of the countryside. One can watch the magnificent birdlife, (over 50 different bird species have been spotted here, including guinea fowl, plovers, hoopoes, barbets and shrikes to name a few) while you have a sundowner or a braai on the patio or a cooling swim in our crystal clear pool, with a beautiful sunset in the background. If you decide to stay up late on a clear evening you may even be lucky enough to hear the roar of the lions from the lion park. The guests staying at Hoopoe haven are amazed at the size and quality of the lodge and the friendly atmosphere. It is a place in which you can actually enjoy yourself and make new friends. A large number of our guests just like to 'cool out' at the lodge and just relax and read a book from our library or watch birds

We want you to view this house as your home away from home. There are no restrictions at the lodge and you have your own access keys so you can come and go whenever you please. With all these luxuries one would expect to pay the earth, but the rates at Hoopoe Haven are extremely affordable.

we offer you both B&B and bed only rates in the lodge and we have 3 4-6 sleeper self-catering cottages, a 4 sleeper (2A+2C) family cottage and a 2 sleeper cottage.

50% deposit to secure booking. 100% for single day bookings. Balance due on day of arrival.

Cancellations:
0 to 14 days prior to arrival date - 50% of the total invoiced \"Amount due\" is payable.
14 to 28 days prior to arrival date - 25% of the total invoiced \"Amount due\" is payable.
More than 28 days prior to arrival date - 12,5% of the total invoiced \"Amount due\" is payable.
Early departure – No refund.
