Tenahead is 3500ha of un-spoilt mountains, valleys and streams with a treasury of fauna and flora. It is a nature lover's paradise close to heaven on earth. Tenahead is home to antelope and small game with over 300 species of birds. The winters are crisp with snow covering the ground and cool summers. Accommodation is available in 7 luxury bedrooms with magnificent views, underfloor heating, DSTV, DVD and CD player. Rates include meals, snacks, teas, hiking trails, guided horse trails and transfers from Rhodes. Self-drive 4x4 routes are also available.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of notification of cancellation the following cancellation fee shall apply on the full booking, 100% is refundable should your reservation be cancelled within 48 hours from confirmation of reservation.
100% is non refundable should your reservation be cancelled more than 48 hours from confirmation of reservation.
Inclement weather is beyond the control of Tenahead Mountain Lodge, bad weather can cause closure of roads for a number of days and access to and from lodge will be prevented. The roads are not owned by Tenahead and we can therefore not be responsible for road closure as a result of bad weather (heavy snow falls). It is understood that any expenses in relation to these unscheduled extensions (accommodation, meals, telephone calls etc) will for the guests account. No refund will be given due to inclement weather access.

At R100 per adult per year you are entitled to 40 % discount on accommodation, 25% discount on meals, 20% disc on spa treatments and 10%^ disc on activities. The card is valid for a year and can be used at all of our hotel in the river group.
