'Praise for the Manager Mr Williams and the Lodge staff, having biked up to Katse and only arriving at 1pm it was too late to travel back to Clarens, we therefore decided to stay over, the Receptionist was very friendly and efficient and informed us no credit card facilities were available, having not intending to stay over we had limited cash with us (4 people) we opted for a self-catering house which fortunately supplies basic toiletries, we had dinner at a very reasonable price, Having now only a few rands left we could not afford the full breakfast, The manager Mr Williams allowed us to pay for a basic breakfast at a minimal price to see us off on a long 4 hour drive back to Clarens, Excellent Service all round Thank you Katse Lodge for going the extra mile, not found everywhere these days.' - Lynn Goodrum in Kempton Park, South Africa
