Constantia Cottages are located in the heart of the Cape's most famous and beautiful suburb, Constantia, amongst the leafy vines of the oldest winelands in the Cape, in close proximity to many of the celebrated Cape restaurants. It provides easy access to the major highways and is also two minutes away from the chic Constantia Village Shopping Centre (variety of fashionable shops and restaurants). The False Bay beaches and golf courses are an easy 15 minutes drive away and the city no more than 20 minutes.
Outside, Garden and Pool:
The well-appointed four holiday homes of Constantia Cottages are surrounded by an immaculate big private garden. Our guests have access to the beautiful 40 sq m solar-heated swimming pool. The entire property is illuminated by lots of lights during the night and is alarmed inside and outside the buildings with beams and sensors. Cameras at the bells show who is in front before opening up. We are connected to a security company (armed response). Secure parking for all cars in double-garages.
Cottage Cabernet:
Our fully underfloor heated cottage has got two bedrooms upstairs both en-suite to the same bathroom. The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed, the second bedroom with a queen-size bed and one single bed. Bathroom with a big shower cabin, a designer basin, nice corner bath and corner toilet. Separate guest toilet downstairs.
The granite top kitchen downstairs is open plan to the lounge and fully equipped with high quality appliances, such as a big fridge with freezer, a stove, an oven, the extractor and a microwave and a sink, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and dish washer. There is small dining area with seating for four, a day bed (standard single bed) and a leather corner lounger in front of the TV. Own private garden part and patio open to the main garden.
Cottage Chardonnay:
This beautiful and cosy one room apartment in its one small building offers furnished self-catering accommodation for two people in a queen-size bed and additional two on a comfortable sofa bed. Make yourself at home in this fully-equipped holiday home to make your stay an enjoyable one.
The Chalet boasts one room open plan design with bedroom, beautiful underfloor heated bathroom, nice fully-fitted kitchenette, small scullery and lounge/dining room with satellite TV. It leads to a private patio with delightful small garden and dining area with BBQ facility and sun loungers and outdoor seating for four.
Junior Suite Pinotage:
Our Junior Suite Pinotage close to the chalet on the same plot sleeps two in a double-bed. It has got its private entrance from the big garden and big windows that let you feel being in the garden though you are still inside. Completely underfloor heated.

Child Policy
Our prices on our price list apply to certain booking times, e.g. 1-2 days, 3–6 days, 7–13 days, 14–27 days or 28–56 days. The daily rates for longer stays from 14 nights are then lower. For shorter stays less than 7 nights the daily rates are then higher. Please enquire about daily costs for stays of longer than 56 nights.
Extra person in room (occupation more than standard):
No extra costs will be charged for maximum one child up to the age of 2 years in a baby cot which we can provide free-of-charge. For children aged 10+ we charge R100.00 each, for children older than 10 years and grownups who share the same unit for up to 3, 4 or 5 people (more than the standard booking) we charge an extra R200.00 per night.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings will be officially confirmed once a deposit of 50% of the whole amount has been paid. All bookings need to be done this way. This is not refundable unless that booking period can be rebooked with other people. In such a case a 10% administration fee would be charged and subtracted.
The remaining 50% MUST be paid into the Landlord’s account latest two weeks before arrival, after which all renters details will be made available.
In the case of the booking being cancelled during the rental period or with a no show then the following rules apply
Cancellation until 10 days before arrival = 100% of the amount of the rental
Cancellation 11 – 30 days before arrival = 50% of the amount of the rental
Cancellation 31 – 60 days before arrival = 35% of the amount of the rental
Earlier than 61 days before arrival = 25% of the amount of the rental
Should we be able to rent out the units to other guests then the deposit will be prorated and returned (deduction of 10% as administration fee).

Coming from the Airport take the off-ramp onto the N2 towards Cape Town. At Groote Schur leave the N2 at the sign "M3 Muizenberg". Keep left with the mountain on your right passing the University of Cape Town (UCT). Follow the M3 and pass Rondebosch, Kirstenbosch, Claremont, Bishopscourt and Main Road Constantia until exit "Kendal Road". On the left hand side to the M3 you find the area of “The Vines” and “Constantiaberg”.
