We are situated within a six minute drive from Durban’s CBD and ICC in the South and a 5 min drive from La Lucia, Umhlanga and Gateway in the North. Within 15 minutes of Durban’s main beaches, Ushaka Marine World and within close proximity of a number of golf courses. And only 20 minutes drive away from Durban International Airport. ADDED FACILITIES (Wi-Fi Hotspot)
Transfer services to and from the airport can be arranged and the account will be charged accordingly. Taxi Services (in and around Durban North area) can also be arranged at an additional cost. The Guest House is very secure with electric fencing and an electronic gate as well as off street parking.
The fully equipped kitchen makes this a perfect venue for self-catering and larger groups. We also accommodate people who are relocating to Durban and those who are in need of longer stays.
The facilities in the guest house include designated smoking areas, bar, internet & office, laundry, baby sitting, braai facilities and a full entertainment area with a swimming pool for your convenience.

Cancellation Policy
Booking Procedure and Terms
Within 24 hrs of receiving the booking from you, Flintstones Guest house will send you a reservation confirmation after we have booked all of the necessary accommodation and other services. The reservation confirmation serves as written proof of the services and accommodation that you have purchased from Flintstones Guest House. In order to confirm you booking please follow the below steps.
1. Bookings will be held provisionally for 7 days (1 week ) and then must be confirmed or released
2. Full pre-payment is due 30 day (1 month) prior to arrival of the guest
3. Reservations made within 30 days prior to the guest arrival will require full pre-payment within 7 working days (1 week) of having made the reservation.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation two weeks prior to booking date: No additional charges
Cancellation one week prior to booking date : 50% of full accommodation rate charged
Cancellation within in week of booking date: Full accommodation rate applicable

Directions from the N3:
When you come from Johannesburg pass the Mariann Hill toll plaza follow the Durban signs just past the Pavilion shopping Mall, which will be on your right hand side, you get to the spaghetti junction (North and South split).
1) Keep in your left lane and take the N2 North (Stanger N2 Highway).
2) Take the first off ramp off the N2 highway, which is Umgeni Road
3) Once you’ve taken the Umgeni Road off ramp, keep to the right lane and turn right at the first set of traffic Lights
4) Continue on Umgeni Road. You will pass 5 sets of traffic light. (You will pass the Makro on your right and CTM / Hirch’s shopping center on your left).
5) After the fifth set of traffic lights , keep to the extreme left and take the next off ramp which reads “Durban North”. (Please note that this is a small sign, so you might miss it if you are not in the left hand lane. The turn is just after the last traffic Lights and just before a bridge).
6) Keep in your left lane and take the first left turn, which reads “Riverside Rd”.
7) After the left turn, turn right at the set of traffic lights into Riverside Road. (You will pass the Bird Park on your left hand side).
8) Turn left at the second set of traffic lights, which is Thames Place Road
8) Drive 400m Turn left into Kelvin Place
9) We are the second house on the right hand side from the corner,
10) Intercom at the gate. Come down the driveway. COFFEE WILL BE WAITING
