Highly Recommended Game & Nature Reserve
Sibuya is one of the real jewels among Africa's multitude of game reserves. Arriving guests traverse the scenic Kariega River estuary in a leisurely 45-minute boat cruise passing large numbers of waterfowl and shorebirds plus the occasional seal, turtle or otter. Two tented camps offer guests a genuinely relaxing stay in beautifully appointed en suite rooms, complete with luxury furnishings. Excellent cuisine and wines are served in the dining room, on picnics, or under a canopy of stars in the wonderful boma. Bird and game viewing is consistently superb, with regular sightings of lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, zebra and giraffe. Antelope range from the mighty eland to the rare oribi and diminutive blue duiker. Friendly staff and peaceful tranquillity ensure an unforgettable stay.
Day trips comprise a boat cruise, a three hour game drive and a delicious three course lunch served on the banks of the river.
