Geography

Cape Agulhas is the southernmost tip of Africa, and L'Agulhas is the southernmost town in Africa. This serenely beautiful spot is where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.

Arts and Culture

The historic Agulhas lighthouse, the second oldest working lighthouse in South Africa, and now a provincial heritage site, has warned sailors of the shallow Agulhas Bank since 1848. It was restored to its original condition in 1988.
