This lodge is situated on the banks of the Olifants River in Balule Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger Park. With only four double rooms, all with a magnificent view on the river, it is the ideal place to sit back, relax and feel at home. Child Policy
Children are welcome! Children up to the age of 12 can stay for half price (R330) provided that they sleep inside their parents room.
Cancellation Policy
A deposit of 50% of all total nights spend at our lodge will be necessary to guarantee your reservation. The balance must be paid 2 weeks prior to arrival at Kurhula Lodge. Additional costs like beverages, excursions, etc. will be settled prior to departure. Cancellations before 2 weeks of date of arrival at the lodge will incur a loss of 50% of the deposit held. Cancellations within 2 weeks of date of arrival 100% loss of deposit held. If you wish to cancel your booking, please do this by e-mail: info@kurhulalodge.com.

On the R40 from Hoedspruit towards Phalaborwa, you will cross the Olifants river. Continue to drive for several kilometres until you will pass Mica village. After that you will find on your right hand side a petrol station which is called “Sameys”. Then follow the road until you reach the turnoff to Tzaneen, but keep going straight towards Phalaborwa. After about 700 meters, you will find on the right hand site the entrance to Parsons Nature Reserve. A dirt road will take you after 5 kilometres to the security gate of Parsons Nature Reserve. After this gate you will have to travel another 7 kilometres to Kurhula Lodge. Please note that it is plot nr 25.
