Dumela Lodge is 'your home away from home' when visiting Francistown; whether on business or passing through. We are located just outside the Ntshe residential which is just a 10 minutes drive from the city centre and the airport. and Some refer to us as a bush lodge while others refer to us as 'out of town in town'.
We are thus perfectly located as a stop over to and Makgadikgadi National park, Okavango Delta, Chobe National park and the famous Victoria falls in Zimbabwe.The lodge comprises of a wooden thatched structure, which houses reception, a cocktail bar (where you can catch up with your favorite sport on satellite TV) and restaurant. The lodge provides WI-Fi hot spot for free of charge. Accommodation comprises luxury en-suite tented chalets on raised timber decks. During the scotching hot Botswana summer you can cool off the heat in our ever sparkling swimming pool. Our swimming pool is the biggest in town and there is a beach volleyball court.
Our 7 Luxury tented chalets consist of: 3 twin beds chalets and 4 double beds chalets which have en-suite facilities (toilet and free standing bath tub)
We have a Hair dryer in each room for your convenience as well as Tea/coffee making facilities
Mosquito nets are provided in the rooms as well as TV (SABC). The rooms are equipped with both heaters and fans to make your stay more pleasurable.
Plug types: Electric supplies of 230V with round plugs
We host corporate Christmas parties, corporate cocktail parties, corporate brand launches as well as weddings. We offer traditional music and dancing as well as meetings of workshops for up to thirty delegates. Enjoy some physical activity on our volleyball court with volleyball tournaments. Drive through the city center of Francis town and on the third traffic circle take the first exit, go across the railway line and at the traffic lights turn right. You will drive past Garrison army barracks then prisons and just before the bridge ahead of you turn right and follow the road all the way to Dumela Lodge.
