Annamarie and David welcome you to The Potting Shed Accommodation in their Guest House close to town, a 1920's Cape Cottage style home combined with African theme. Enjoy their personal service in an informal, friendly atmosphere, in the quaint town of Hermanus only one hour away from Cape Town International airport. Self Catering apartment also available.
Our Guest House is: 3 Star graded with the South African Tourism Grading Council, Highly Recommended with the AA, Semi-Finalists in 2006 & 2008 in the AA Accommodation Awards Programme, and recommended by The Lonely Planet, & Trip Advisor.
We can accommodate up to 14 guests in 3 standard rooms and 2 family rooms (which sleep up to 4 people). All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, TV, safety deposit box, overhead fans, wall heaters, pool towels and en-suite shower room.
Breakfast includes fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast, fresh squeezed juice (when in season), choice of Cooked or Continental and unlimited tea/coffee.
Ideally situated in a side street just off the main road, the town centre, restaurants, cliff paths & sea are a short walk away.
The flood-lit pool area has sun-loungers, tables and chairs and BBQ/braai for guest use. (BBQ utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery are supplied on request).

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please read the following carefully:
Please note that the following applies to all bookings.
It would be advisable to check that your travel insurance covers for cancellation
A 50% Non Refundable Deposit is due to secure all reservations
(Either by electronic transfer or credit card)
We do not accept cheques
1. This policy applies to all Cancellations irrespective of cause.
2. All Cancellations must be notified by email to: potshed@hermanus.co.za or
fax 028 3131047.
Late arrival:
Reservations will only be held later than 6pm when late arrival has been notified. We reserve the right to cancel your booking and re-let the room to other guests if you have not taken up your reservation by 6pm on the day of arrival.
There will be NO REFUND of your deposit although we will do our best to find you alternative accommodation if we have re let your accommodation to other guests

DIRECTIONS TO
THE POTTING SHED GUEST HOUSE
FROM CAPE TOWN
• Take the N2 from Cape Town, passing Sir Lowery Pass and continuing on until the turning for the R43 and Hermanus is reached.
• Continue along the R43 for just over 27kms to the Hemel en Aarde craft village on the left hand side of the road, passing the turnings for Fisherhaven, Hawston, Vermont and Onrus on the way.
• Continue past the Hemel en Aarde Craft Village (white buildings with green roofs on the left hand side of the road) and through the traffic robots/lights at the end of the craft village.
• Approximately 1 km further on, look out for the Gateway Spar Centre on the right hand side of the road. (You will see Spar flags on flag poles) and the 24 hour Total Garage at the next set of traffic lights.
• 4 turnings past the Gateway centre, you will see the turning for Albertyn Street on the left hand side. There is a sign on Main Road, on the corner, that says “The Potting Shed Guest House”. We are the third house in Albertyn Street. There is a sign outside, and “pots” with flowers and plants etc in.
• (On the Main Road on the right hand corner of Albertyn Street there is a “veternary surgery”).
